What an offensive performance--and without a hit by Aldrete. Vols have a pretty strong lineup of hitters and will be a test for this gator pitcher. Time to put a dent in her record.

Good Luck to the girls softball team today facing a very good Florida Gator team. We need to start off fast by scoring first & often to keep the gators on the ropes. I hope TN hasn't run out of gas after playing these last few come from behind games.

I like the fact that the girls were more aggressive at the plate. Good things come when you swing the bat. Great game, go get them Gators!

I never in a million years thought we'd knock off LSU in the SECT - now they have me believing they'll win it all. Like K Weekly said, pitching by committee means all of our pitchers are fresh while UF's has been workin', workin', workin'. If our bats get going, who knows? GLV!!

UF also used multiple pitchers during their game vs USCe.

Ralph and Karen should change our pitcher every inning. They almost do that now. Might has well go all the way and really mess with the heads of the opposition.

The LV pitchers tend to get hit badly after the opponent has seen them once. Likewise, the LV hitters are slow to hit an opposing pitcher until after they have seen her once. Does this mean a pitchers duel tonight? I doubt it, but I hope the Florida hitters are slow to figure out Gabriel's riseball and Gaffin's dropball and Tarango's changeup. If Aucoin could ever find the plate, she could be real good in the circle.

Tennessee now leads the SEC in home runs with 96. Auburn is second with 94. Missouri is way back in third place with 72.

Nationally in D1, La.-Lafayette and Michigan are tied with 101, Oklahoma 99, and then Tennessee with 96.

This team's more talented than I originally thought. I was somehow under the impression our recruiting had fallen off but our upcoming class appears monstrous. This group far and away represents our best shot at a championship here at UT.

High level softball is entertaining enough on its own merits, but this doesn't detract from things:
