Got my rear end to Kennesaw early today so I could get a seat. Team got here about 20 minutes ago. Go Lady Vols!!

The only surprise so far of the season has been that CJ McClain is not the leadoff hitter. I guess she needs more seasoning thought she would be in the lineup leading off from day one. 2.5 speed to first and almost a .500 hitter in high school hopefully she advances to this level soon.

Looks like the LadyVols have this one in the bag. The LadyVols then get to beat up on Fordham and Florida Gulf Coast on Friday.

I think this will be one of our better hitting teams even when we face the tougher teams. The pitching will be the key to how we finish.

It was a lot smaller crowd today but it was very nice weather for early Feb. Taylor Koenig had the 7 RBI's and looked good today. We had a couple of great defensive plays today. I wished you guys could have seen them. I guess this is the last time I will get to see them live until they go to Auburn. There was one scary moment when Rainey took a hot shot to the wrist. She dropped her glove and held her arm for quite a while. She came back and looked fine afterwards. Whew!! Go Lady Vols!!
