The thing about Moss is they weren't hitting her that well except for Mauga but they were dropping in.

Yep...and someone will come on here shortly and blame the lackluster performance on the pitching...lol. 15 straight batters retired... has to be the pitcher's fault!

It's good to see the time tested tradition of leaving pitchers in longer than feasible continues. Helen Keller knew U of A had figured her out.

I disagree with the call for a rise ball from Gabriel there. That gives the batter a better chance to get the ball in the air & that's actually what happened for a sac fly. Something low would have been the right call with 2 strikes.

Naaa: I'm not buying the fatique excuse. We just don't have enough good right-handed hitters when facing a good lefty. We have a heavy left-hand lineup (including Gaffin, by the way). Among right handers, we've got Geer, who is good; McSwain, who has been in and out of the lineup this year and has not been great; and we have Lockman, who didn't play most of the year because she's hasn't hit. She HAS to get better--and ought to: she was a top prospect coming in. That's weak.

Arizona is beating the LVs even worse than they did the first time. Either we learned nothing... or fixed nothing.

Arizona pitcher has had an advantage today because the ump is giving her the outside river to left handed batters which makes her very difficult to hit. Major disadvantage to our hitters.

The pitch by Moss that got by Lockman was a wild pitch, or should have been scored as such. Overall, Lockman is a very good catcher...just wish she could hit her weight!

now it is getting a bit ugly

Erin needs to set them down

and then try some pinch batters,they have gone cold for this game
