Game Thread Lady Vols Softball Team week 7

oh ok,i thought she was doing really well

She did her job, but she has trouble throwing strikes and falls behind too often. They wanted to get Moss some pitches also.

Gaffin with the line drive home run! Long at bat resulted in a blast over the right field fence on a 3-2 count. 5-2 UT.

After the Gaffin home run, Aucoin walks, Leach walks, Geer fools 'em all with a bunt. Bases loaded 2 out for Vines. Vines walks in a run. 6-2 UT. Gregg at bat with the bases still loaded. Gregg walks in a run. 7-2 UT. These MSU pitchers suck. Bases still loaded for Overstreet.

Pitching change. MSU needs it. Man, they've brought in a farm girl. I mean the whole farm. Wow. She is not petite. Mackenzie Toler the DP is now pitching.

Overstreet works a 3-2 count then fouls one off then pops out to third.

3 runs scored with 2 outs. 7-2 UT after 5.

Wow, first out is a dribbler to Aucoin off first, Gaffin covers first and Aucoin tosses it to Gaffin who catches it barehanded as she cross the bag! Great bang-bang play. Two more routine ground outs to Leach and Aucoin and MSU is out in the top of the 6th. Still 7-2 UT.
