I do wish we had recruited Nunley. That was a big miss on Weekley's part. Can you imagine how good she would have been on our roster. She might carry them again in the tournament.

She was a late-bloomer and was not nearly as highly rated as Gabriel coming out of high school.

Sure, it looks like an obvious choice now, but if they had taken Nunley over Gabriel at the time, people would have thought Ralph and Karen were insane.

That's what scares me. We have to beat Kentucky 4 times in a row. It will be difficult. They could easily have won either or both of the last two games in Knoxville.

Except Nunley didn't have a resume to support doing that at the time. We picked our pitcher for this class and it was Gabriel. Nunley wasn't in the conversation at the time.
