Repurposed for Jewell, yes, but has been used for years at FSU.

Probably a lil bit of both but i dnt wanna take away what she just went thru.....but if shes not ready i would rather her sit and condition then come back cuz i dnt see her helping in this capacity as is maybe im wrongWhy do u think that’s the case?
1. Just solely on the health scare.
2. Not eating right and conditioning to be in good physical shape, once she was in the clear.
I agree with u, this year should just be her getting in better shape and working out, that’s if she truly wants to do the work, and come back next year. Every player is not built the same, some want it and some don’t.Probably a lil bit of both but i dnt wanna take away what she just went thru.....but if shes not ready i would rather her sit and condition then come back cuz i dnt see her helping in this capacity as is maybe im wrong
Nah, don't go there at all. Of course she wants it and is working hard as she can. She wants it way more than any of us could ever understand. And is probably the most frustrated of anyone. No reason to question that at all.I agree with u, this year should just be her getting in better shape and working out, that’s if she truly wants to do the work, and come back next year. I don’t really have a dog in this fight but would be willing to bet the house, a significant majority of the fanbase in Tallahassee would disagree, which I believe was @Voltopia ’s original point. Certainly will add to the atmosphere at Donald L Tucker Arena Thursday night.I understand and did when I posted that ......as I stated before her Fear the spear has nothing to do with FSU

I wasn’t talking about her, that was a general statement about the ones that don’t put in the work. Like I said I don’t know her situation from a medical perspective, I’m not a doctor.Nah, don't go there at all. Of course she wants it and is working hard as she can. glv98, I haven't heard/read what Kellie said to Brian regarding Tamari, but ... dang. When thinking about our post-season chances a couple of months ago, in my mind how far we went depended on how big a defensive presence Tamari could be. If we don't have her in the paint intimidating opponents and altering their shots, that's gonna hurt our chances. Both Karoline and Jillian are tough and capable of playing good defense, but few players in the country can bring what Tamari does, defensively, when she is on her game. Opponents worry constantly about getting their shots sent into the bleachers if they drive on her, so when she's not patrolling the paint it reaaaaaaalllllly hurts our guards. We need The Intimidator in the paint so our guards can player tighter defense knowing if their man gets by them, Tamari's got their backs.
Do you get a sense she could be full-time by the time conference games start? Man, we have GOT to hope so!
The team seen her all this time, so I’m sure they knew she wouldn’t be ready, they are around her everyday. I already knew once I saw her a few mi the ago. Like I said she should take the year off and work on fitness and come back next year if she wants to continue playing. In my head, I had Tamari as a key part of the rotation, figuring she would bounce back from her medical set back. Unfortunately, that anticipation has proven to be completely unrealistic.
She has a long way to go. Can she cover that much fitness ground by the tournament time in March,. Let's hope but for the bulk of the season, the LVs are going to have to adjust to not having TK at full force.
Jillian can clearly do the job if she stays out of foul trouble. Karo is looking like a most improved player candidate but there will be some match-ups that are going to be tough for her, like Angel Reese.
Kelllie has been using a small ball line-up in stretches and that might be the way forward. If you can't beat in the post, press and three point shoot them to death. And RJ and Puckett have shown that they can win rebound battles against bigger opponents.
If the indication is as it seems I totally agree with you. Red Shirt a year and come back. The team seen her all this time, so I’m sure they knew she wouldn’t be ready, they are around her everyday. Could have a masters knocked out for sure.We said that last night. Maybe work toward next year for full return. I don't think she'd have to redshirt; we've discussed before that last yr was a medical rs for TK so she could participate this yr and still have her covid year next season. And be the FulKEYson of the LVs!
Blood clots in the lungs could have killed Tamari as she ran down the court last season holding the likes of Elizabeth Kitley to 6 points or any of those other posts from top ranked team they played early last year. Even with that ailment at the beginning of last season she was still shutting players down. It is like your drowning underwater and you can't get to the surface to breath. From that moment, she's been shut down from all physical activity for a year. As a sophomore she was the leading shot blocker in the SEC and country. That's irreplaceable on a team and takes great physical abilities and stamina, something that is going to take her a while to get back.I wasn’t talking about her, that was a general statement about the ones that don’t put in the work. Like I said I don’t know her situation from a medical perspective, I’m not a doctor.
Not true. She was cleared I believe last spring to begin physical activity such as biking, lifting, etc and completely cleared medically for all basketball activity by at least the start of summer. TK would never have been allowed to fly to and from Europe w/o full medical clearance. We've all watched her practice and play and it won't be a year until December. That's why we thought she might be further along by now. But for sure, it takes how long it takes. From that moment, she's been shut down from all physical activity for a year.
We scored 93 pts, w Rickea having an off night. Offense is not, and will not, be a problem and Key wasn't counted on to contribute there anyway. Defense is a different problem, but so far its been perimeter, not interior defense we've struggled with. It looks like there will be games we'll simply have to outscore the opposition. And Wells scored 1 bucket, Tess didnt at all, and Key played 7 minutes against Florida A&M. That wont be enough going forward
Seems like 93 is the magic number for the Florida A&M defense. MTSU just scored 93 on them while giving up just 48.We scored 93 pts, w Rickea having an off night.
