Evidently fouling them is not a good idea. They made 10 of 10 from the free throw line otherwise we'd have an even bigger lead. This defense and effort on defense is exactly what we been looking for.

Georgia plays great defense in their matchup zone. Very hard to get the ball inside and we've got in trouble trying to hard to get it in there. 11 turnovers to 8 so minus 3. A nice lead in the rebounding. We just need to replicate that half for a nice win today.

You have to attack a press. We are just kind of gingerly breaking it. But when you make the pass to break the first wave, there is always another to get near the basket or to get an open shot, and we are not looking for it.

Jackson and Horston are just so superior to the talent on bad teams like GA.

Separately, the officials consistently calling charges on both blocks and flops is just brutal. Far, far too many charge calls granted.

Be looking at the second half defense. If we can hold them to 18 no reason we shouldn't hold them to thirty or less. If their total is 48 we don't need to score a lot to win. Right now same thing would be 66 to 36.

Watching this first half was up and down. Horston needs to settle down and let the game come to her. Powell needs to be in street clothes if she keeps making bad decisions. Walker and Darby both with active hands today. Puckett needs to let the three fly more aggressively. She has a sweet stroke. And Striplin i love her but the SC bigs will eat her alive. Man it sucks losing Key. Jackson needs to be on the Wooden Watch list.

Love the defensive intensity. I wish Puckett would look for her shot more and Walker less. Also, Powell needs to think about not being a turnover machine.

It would be a good game for Pissott to get some minutes. She can shoot the three and is a good passer. She is also tall enough to see and pass over the press. She is inexperienced though and it could give her trouble, but Powell is not playing well and we have a bit of a lead so she should get a few minutes to see what she can do.

It would be nice if we could keep two 3 pt shooters out there all the time, but our shooters are not mobile so it is kind of hard to do.
