Just incredible fight and big time plays from a bunch of players. We lost a couple of games like this one earlier this season. And this is our best road win of the season, and another Q1 win - all without Horston! Big shots late from Puckett and Jackson but Striplin was big in the 1st half, Franklin showed her usual grit, Hollingshead hit some nice shots, Walker some solid defense, Powell some big assists.

So I forgot about the game then came across the game thread. I read comments that the “game was over” and “horrible loss,” so I stopped reading.

I googled the score just now and read that the Lady Vols won? So can someone please post the short version WTH happened so I don’t have to read the entire game thread?

I turned it with the expectation of old. Us not being clutch and no energy to comeback but I forgot we have the best Scorer in the SEC along with Sara Bucket Mf Puckett! I love the fight I saw today in those last 2 minutes.

I’ve been giving Puckett some crap but she really stepped up today. Her defense could use some improvement, but with almost 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists missing we needed someone to score the ball and she did.

Rickea Jackson is the best scorer in the SEC… nobody else in the country as explosive. As skilled scoring the basketball!

The only issue I see is that she’s unselfish, she doesn’t take as many shots as she should.

Jackson scored an-and-one and made free throw assisted by Powell!

Powell got the memo, get the ball to your best player and let them bring you home. Earlier in the season powelll would have forced a shot.
