Russell is obviously not strong enough yet to keep smaller centers from posting down low. With strength she will be able to prevent many of the moves that currently are happening to her.

Glad to see our injured player on the bench without bandages or her eye covered. I wonder if she may have had a detached retina. We heard she is running now which is a positive for sure.

Lady Vols played very well tonight.Solid on both ends of the floor.Had Meghan played defense this way for four years,think how good she would be.Mercedes still needs to work on hand strength and not swinging down on shot block attempts,but she is improving.Overall a very good game for the LVs.I do believe they read or get words from VN. Great job,Ladies!!!Keep it going!!

LOL ! good post :thumbsup: to beat the top teams i think we will need more help in the paint. Izzy get`s into foul trouble a lot. I know we have Russell but we can always use more help at on the wing.
