Assuming I read the sarcasm correctly, this is a common misconception that teams not ranked in the top 25 are not worth our time. There's a big difference between playing a team ranked 54 and one ranked 200. Auburn beat Vandy, played UK within 2 points, played South Carolina within 6 points and have a winning record. They are not a power house, but they are in the SEC and are a competent basketball team who can beat you if you don't show up to play.

Auburn played 25 games before playing us and not one team in all those games beat them by 30 or more like we did. For the gals to beat Auburn as badly as they did took a great effort and there's nothing any of you can say to diminish that.

I'm thinking were gonna finish third in the SEC. We could get Texas A&M the title if they win out and we beat South Carolina. It looks like were the only one left with any hope of beating them. A&M holds the tiebreaker over them so that game will be important for them. We lost our chance by losing to Kentucky. We still have two hard ones on the road, but third is the SEC seems to be locked up.

KY beating us on the road and then losing to SC at home really stung as far as our chances of getting the title. UK can still beat TAM and we can still beat SC, but SC would still be a game ahead of us and their only two other games are against Georgia and Florida. Theoretically one of those teams could still steal a win from SC as they both have against a handful of teams, but its definitely not likely plus they are on SC's home floor. And, we still have Missouri and LSU on the road, which won't be automatic either.

It would definitely suck not to have the title or 2nd versus 3rd, but if we win out and the only team or teams who finished above you are teams you beat plus we avenged 2 of our 3 SEC losses, then it's not exactly the end of the world and we have a chance to get revenge in the tournament. If I had to pick between:

- 2nd or 3rd regular season but win the SEC tournament
vs
- 2nd/3rd/4th in the tournament but win the SEC regular season

... I'd pick winning the tournament. It shows the committee you're playing your best basketball now and helps get you a better seed. It gives your team confidence going into the tournament.

it was a good game by the Lady Vols,I just got done watching the replay

I really liked Simmons hustle on Defense,it is good that her D is improving so much this time of year

they did cut way down on the turnovers,but there still making some bad decisions on the passing


It was good to see Nia get some playing time,I thought she should have been in the game earlier at the end of the 2nd half,but Russell needed the work too,she still looks like she isn't looking for the ball at times when a pass comes to the post

Izzy got in foul trouble,again,she needs to focus and stop getting into foul trouble,the team looks so much better with her on the court,not on the damn bench

Massengale didn't play again,I wish her the best on her recovery,from what ever the injury is,it pretty well has to be an eye injury or a concussion and yes that is just a guess from me

once they hit a couple of 3s, Auburn quit clogging the paint so much
