Remember McCowan when she first got to MSU you knew she had talent, she was big, and she was imposing but she wasn’t as timely as she was by the time she left. She showed you the glimmers but her foot movement improved and that made her timing improve. Not saying she will reach her level but she has bounds of potential and she already seals off her defenders to where she is the only one to get the ball better than Russell. Hopefully the perimeter defense will be better and not put their center in so many exposed situations.

I agree, I see a lot of McCowan in her. She’s not as strong as Tierra looked, even as a freshman, but she’s so long and you can tell the potential is there. If she can become a paint protector like Tierra did we will be in business. When her coordination, timing and mobility improved players just stopped entering the paint against MSST. There was nowhere to go because you were gonna end up like this.

I remember Big T's first couple of years in college and she moved like a "big kid afraid to hurt somebody" Gentle Ben...swatting the obvious blocks and stumbling in the paint. No Key moves more like Candace than she does like T
