34 point favorite tonight even with the way we've been playing. i expect everybody gets to play tonight.

IMO Holly needs to start thinking about paring the rotation down to 8/9 players .....players who want to play and give the effort .....there is still time for experimentation in game situations but not much before SEC play begins.....she needs to somehow light a fire in the half court offense even if she insists on using her antiquated system.

I don't care who brings the ball up but I think it should go in Diamond's hands with the first pass and either let her make a play or a pass for the shot. I like Cooper and she is going to be a star player but she has the Freshman want to do to much make a big play itis and evidently Holly doesn't have the cure. Were much better with Diamond running the show even with the limited offense she is working with.
Two if I am the coach Mercedes is going to get a lot tougher. She wanted to keep her distance from the big Texas girls inside and wasn't attacking them like she should have with the limited shots she got. She almost seemed relieved when Holly pushed her out to the perimeter and we had no post game at all.

Russell doesn't have the post moves to challenge someone her own size. Izzy was 6'3 but played bigger because she could go around bigger posts, had a reliable hook shot, and a consistent 10-15 foot jump shot. Russell has none of these; it's catch, go up, score...and that's hard to do when you're not up against a 6'1 post.

Dean needs to work the same magic with Russell that he did with Harrison. Her size alone is an asset, but she doesn't have the skills to be a go-to player yet.

You know she exhibited some of that in those university games or whatever it was she and DD were in this summer. What's changed? Coaching????

Why is it other teams have freshman point guards and they do just fine? The freshman guard for Texas was good. There is something seriously lacking in this team and I wish we'd get it fixed quickly

Harrison had the best foot work of any LV post player in recent memory.

The Lady Vols game is online only. Why not tune in to the UCONN HUSKIES game on Fox Sports 1? We can watch what greatness is all about.

Syracuse/Maryland on the Big Ten Network at 7:00 Eastern.

Texas/Mississippi State on the Longhorn Network at 8:00 Eastern.

Notre Dame/Ohio State on tv?
