If your coach has you playing man. And Russell's player goes out on the perimeter she is going where she is told to. If she stayed in the paint while her player shot three's people would complain why she isn't covering her player. Geesh

We fought back to tie. If we win this is our last win. I can see Arizona beating us by 10 on their home floor.

There's your problem. There are lots of defenses where your post doesn't have to play 30 feet from the basket.

Teams can neutralize Russell and put her where they want her.

Green Bay runs a motion offense where they use your aggression against you. We are playing the sort of defense they want us to play.

Russell's too slow to do that. She needs to be taught differently, the whole team does. Quicker players should be on those perimeter 3pt shooters. Russell should be focused on making layups and protecting the rim, period. She should not be chasing anyone around that far from the basket. A better coaching staff would know that.

Our guards shoot...and Russell runs out to the top of the free throw line...often no way she is in position to rebound! GB player drives to the hoop...no helpside defense...rather...our player runs AWAY from the GB player to supposedly guard against a pass...or SOMETHING! Folks...we need a COACH in the worst way...smh

No matter how much prep time you have, it doesn't make up for the fact that the Lady Vols are collectively one of the worst shooting teams in the nation. There are middle schools girls who could outshoot this group.

The LVs need to get a comfortable lead. If this goes down to the wire, GB looks more clutch... and they seem to want it more.

Dunbar gets slammed for poor defense...but she seems to give more effort than most of those AA players on the floor...and can shoot a hell a lot better! She works hard to get rebound position...and challenges the dribble drive to the rim. She should play more, based on what others seem unable or unwilling to do!

The offense was a lot better with Dunbar on the floor. They have to at least be aware of her. Russell was able to get a couple offensive rebounds. I think we need to see more of Dunbar and Diamond at the same time. Put Graves and Russell inside. Let Reynolds run the point. About the best five we have.
