The FB boys would love to be able to recruit like the lady vols have for next year. I think you better take a look at what the team will do then before you declare them mediocre!!!

Sorry bro....but I just find it amazing that they kept throwing hail marys to a wide open player at the other end and our team didn't catch on or do anything about it. And they did it like five times in a two minute stretch. I don't think I've ever seen that. Therefore I feel my head scratching is justified.

That statement right there tells me you don't watch the games or at least don't pay attention. Holly is a wild woman on the sidelines coaching her azz off. Be critical of the coaching if you want. That's fine, but at least be critical of the correct thing. That statement is about as far from being correct as you can get.

Playing the #5 seed for a trip to the Final 4 would be considered an "easy road" considering NO #5 seed has ever made it to the Final 4 , until last night. Bottom line is the Lady Vols CHOKED big time. Especially Simmons.

BTW, CBJ and the football team are currently ranked 5th in the country in recruiting for 2014 class.

Playing the 5 seed was an easy road to the elite 8 for Baylor too. Oh wait......my bad

Seems like undisiplined basketball can win games (FGCU in mens) Louisville in womens - those guards run around like its a street pick up game - fast and out of control catching the opponet of guard.

The Cardinals had a lot of uncontested threes last night. Defense was not standing still, put no pressure on their guards and did not defend their drives to the basket. We did not get very many blocks.

We have a few players that can't guard anybody and I doubt they improve. Simmons, Massengale, Spani, and Burdick are all weak defenders. I look for Tucker and Carter to take starting positions on this team next season basically because of their defensive ability. If I was Simmons I would quit thinking about scoring and work on my defense all summer. Their guards killed us and sad thing is when they did miss we couldn't get the rebound. 12 points on ten offensive rebounds in the first half. You got to put your game face on and forget about the last game. To much laughing and dancing before this game. If you look at the UConn girls they look like they have been to a funeral before the game starts very serious and ready to play.

The way uconn dismantled Louisville on both ends of the court in the NC game, is an indication of how far behind elite status we are. We made L'ville look good and uconn made them look like a bad mid major.

What about Missouri State (then South West Missouri State) in 2001?
