Down 4 at half and lsu played really well on offense they are very tough to guard. Cooper does need to be better and i believe she will. Hopefully we wear them down by 4th quarter. In CHRIST Alone

Latham with 7 rebounds off the bench, though. I thought she had a clear path to the basket for a (reverse) lay-up but then kicked it out. I would like to see her to look to score around the basket a little more; she has a nice touch.

She just really doesn’t need to be your teams best player. But she is so we gotta live with it.

I do love that this team is not one dimensional. Any given night we have 6 players who could go off. In years past we had 1-2 players that could score in the SEC. Spear was almost a non-factor against UConn aside from her late three. Tonight? 🔥🔥🔥

Makes is SO much harder to guard.

We haven't really run our system today.

Minutes for the starting 5, 16/14/13/12/12.

3PA, only 14. LSU almost has as many as we do.

Steals, only 4.

Offensive rebounds, only 5. (!!!!)

not this year,,,but over the summer I feel she may find that switch

Look UCONN is better than LSU.
Anyone thinking Tennessee is a tier below LSU is just typing propaganda.
Tennessee is just inconsistent at this moment and it’s obvious why in year 1.
Tennessee needs all 10 players to do their job and they still have a great chance to win this game.
2 free throws at halftime with how much contact LSU has been allowed to play with is highly questionable.
Coach Caldwell needs to address the refs in the second half from the start if this continues can’t let them dictate the outcome of this game.

She is a great lady and has some awesome moments, but not sure she would have played much at SC. I hope the coaches take her great qualities and help her with the opportunities.

Guess when some refs are naturally homers, that with Mulkey pushing them, you see what you get.

She is less valuable against good teams that do not struggle with the press. She is usually better in second half and they need her to be today

Why do we just about always have to get June Corteau as one of our referees in our biggest, most important games. She is way overrated by the NCAA as a top official and is always making outlandish calls as she is today. She has been a thorn in the side of the Lady Vols for at least the last 25 to 30 years. I remember when Pat used to get in her face complaining about stupid calls. It is long past time that this woman retired from officiating.

Two things hurt our team in the first half, in my opinion, turnovers and fouls/free throws. LSU has 16 points off of 12 LV turnovers. And, LSU is 7-8 on free throws to the Lady Vols 2-2. Other than that the Lady Vols are shooting 36% from the three and 45% overall to LSU's 20% from three and 41% overall. Clean those two things up (one of which may be out of their control) and the Lady Vols win this game!

We come out with the exact same 5 that got outrebounded like crap, and right away an LSU rebound on a missed 3. ****
