Game Thread: Lady Vols Vs LSU ; Sun Feb 9th ; Away game; 4 PM Eastern: ESPN

Simply not true, they play with good effort but they do not have the speed to truly execute it

Do you think that your full court press should never give up a transition shot?

That's like never throwing the ball in football because you're scared of throwing INTs. Basketball has about 150 possessions per game, things don't have to go perfect for you on every single one, you just have to do whatever works out the most on average over the full stretch of game. When we play teams that have fantastic offenses, our best bet is to never let them get the ball in the front court in the first place. Yet these are the games where we backcourt trap the least: a massive tactical error.

What was that pass to the corner of the court, UGGGH. Although no cameras showed exactly what happened. Even if UT loses, they all have shown fight and toughness. Where is Spencer though?

I’m not disagreeing with that. My point is that we don’t yet have a team that fully fits the system and I don’t think that’s a debatable point.

Good team? Yes. But far from CKC ideal setup

this is the point in the game where the talent deficiency really shows up. its not caldwells fault, she is paying for the sins of coaching staffs past and their lack of recruiting, well, actually, the idea that they would rather have 3* heart instead of 5* talent

Why do we just about always have to get June Corteau as one of our referees in our biggest, most important games. She is way overrated by the NCAA as a top official and is always making outlandish calls as she is today. She has been a thorn in the side of the Lady Vols for at least the last 25 to 30 years. I remember when Pat used to get in her face complaining about stupid calls. It is long past time that this woman retired from officiating.
I think the woman official I referred to as June Corteau is named Dee something or other. I think Corteau has already retired. Regardless the woman in question is a lousy official.

that ball was tied up. i don't see how they gave that to lsu. they didn't have possession when they czlled that TO
