This is awful, are we being affected by the Christmas layoff? Without Harrison we are in deep trouble. This is bad Tennessee without Izzy.

This is Warlick's fault. Until she pulls her head out of 1975 shorts and gets that there are two parts to basketball, offense and defense, we will not be good. I think we've missed our last 8 shots, maybe more.

The problem is that when Holly sees that the defense has zero respect for Tennessee guards, she just rotates in a bunch of brick layers who's definition of defense is to jump a lot and show off jazz hands.

Put shooters on the floor until she finds someone that can make shots. Carter is broken. Why does Holly think that's going to change?

We won't sniff another National Championship until we hire an offensive specialist or at least actually implement some kind of system. This is very ugly half court basketball

Our strategy at this point should be to keep the game as close as possible until halftime.
Having Izzy back in the line up in the second half should be enough to make the difference.

So after going through a rare, weird concussion issue with Massengale last year, we seem to be going through the same thing with Jones. I've never seen anything like this, not to mention the post-season surgeries with Russell and /everything/ that has happened to Tucker.

Girls are playing u-g-l-y basketball & everyone knows it. Why can't they shoot & make a basket is way beyond me to understand.

Hopefully we get it going and find a way to win. Shooting 24 percent so far if we shoot 40 I think we win this game.

It is amazing that we are allowing this team to control the paint with their best post unable to play. We just seem lost. We cannot play like this on any level.

I am wondering if our concussion protocol is different than everyone else's. I can't ever remember having anyone miss games for a concussion until the last couple of years and other teams don't seem to have to sit players as often as we do.

But frankly, if our girls could shoot like they have seen a basketball before then we would be fine. I have never seen so many poor shooters collected in one place at one time. I know they couldn't have been that bad in high school.

We miss one easy, open shot after another and then we miss layups just to vary things up a little. Combine that with not having any real post presence at all and we will struggle.

We are easily a ten loss team without Izzy.

Good grief. The ineptness on offense is astounding. You would never know that a lot of our players were top prospects--they look like they belong on Maryville. Reynolds comes down the court with 6 seconds to go and shoots from 3 feet and is not even close--and she had about four shots like that. We need Jones for depth, but it's not like she's going to help a lot on offense either. I think UT's coaches has a unique knack for sucking the offensive confidence out of our players--Warlick, being Warlick, is probably lecturing our team on their defense now! Oh, my.

Dunbar and Tucker need to play. Moore has become useless, every time she goes for a rebound it gets knocked away or she gets stripped. Why does Carter start? She CANNOT shoot. Put Massengale in her place. Reynolds is way too inconsistent as a shooter. BTW both Harrison fouls we stupid mistakes by her too

They shot 37 percent to out 24. That is the difference in the game. We have 25 rebounds to their 21 we have to shoot better. 24 percent want win a game. We've had open shots no one can make one.

Someone has to start knocking down the shots from outside- Missouri is giving us the open shot. We're thinking too much and not shooting in rhythm. We're programmed to pound the ball inside but you have to change the game plan based on what the defense gives you.

Four down is not bad considering we made 8 of 34 shots attempts. If we shoot 34 more and make 15 we'll win this game. You wonder why these girls aren't getting any better in their shooting they all need to get in the gym and shoot shots everyday.

You can't start the SEC season with a loss at home. These girls better get their games together and find a way to win this game.
