I'd like to see the Lady Vols come out and have a defensive effort like the Vols did yesterday against Florida. I have never see a team play better defense than they did and the energy they played with was awesome. This is what Kim wants out of the Lady Vols hope we get it today.

In order for that defensive intensity to occur for this team Alyssa Latham must continue to start and Favor Ayodele must play off the bench along with whoever doesn’t start between Lazaria Spearman/Jillian Hollingshead and Kaniya Boyd.
Keep Boyd and Ayodele rotating in to bring energy off the bench to fill in for Latham, Cooper, and Whitehorn.
Boyd, Cooper, and Latham are three of the best defensive players we’ve had in Tennessee in some years.
They gamble at times due to the principles of the system but if you strengthen the paint area which Ayodele and Latham have proven they are capable of as former starters in the ACC that would solidify the half court defense.

Totally like I said may as well go over to softball if we can't find a way to win this one. Missouri is playing better than they have played all season beating Miss St and losing on the road to Texas by nine. It doesn't matter we have to win if were going to have anykind of season.

After three consecutive losses and then games against Connecticut and LSU coming up right after it, today's game is the mother of all must-win games. If there was a Mt. Rushmore for must-win games, TN-MZ would be its George Washington. If today's matchup were a Broadway production it would be titled, "Tennessee Better Win This Freakin' Game."

It would be a really bad loss that would almost certainly knock us out of hosting NCAAs and into midpack in SEC tourney seeding. LOL that's all.

But it's not going to happen. Even if they're on a complete 3 ball tear and we can't hit the broadside again, I think we'd still beat them, just not as bad. The LVs will feel like they're back in the pre conf season feasting on this one. Much needed feel good.

Only thing I worry about today is what I always worry about when playing Missouri: Someone getting hurt by their overly aggressive, sometimes dirty, play. Seems to me Mizzou always has at least one player who's carrying on the legacy of Sophie Cunningham.
