Teams have figured out that attacking the back end is how you bust the kentucky press. Florida and sc both did it. The average to top of the conference will beat them. Auburn is not that good and they had layup after layup going right through it. UK will be lucky to finish in top 4 of the league.

I expect to win this game no reason we shouldn't win. The talent is about even and were at home. Up to us to execute don't take bad shots make stupid passes.

I am not sure if she will have the stamina to go the distance, but Mercedes could be key. Tennessee will have to get those rebounds. Tennessee came back on Notre Dame last year without Harrison, and ND no longer have Skylar Diggins. I am thinking it will be tighter than some might expect. Notre Dame does have size, so Harrison and Graves cannot get into foul trouble. I hope they come out relaxed and take care of business. It is always hard to watch their games on television until they get a good lead. I am wondering who will guard Jewel Lloyd? I hope they shut her down. ND also has some bulk on the bench with Kristina Nelson and Taya Reimer. Nelson played at Buford High here in GA with Kaela Davis and Andraya Carter. We will see.

RealTimeRPI has us losing 74 - 79. Their predictions are primarily based on team statistics. Hope they are wrong. Have a feeling this game could be the turning point of the entire season in either direction. Hopefully Warlick can right the ship. :clapping: Go Lady Vols!!

I hope we get this win!
Let's Go Lady Vols. A win would be great but as long as they show some sort of improvment from the last game I'll be somewhat happy.
Show some discipline & toughness!

Four things Lady Vols have to do to win.
1-Take intelligent shots. Don't just fire a three up and on a breakout fire up a fifteen footer with no one under to rebound. This is a huge problem this team has they don't seem to care about possessions. It is very important to get the best shot you can and certainly need the people who can actually make shots taking them.
2- Rebound don't let Notre Dame have second shots. I expect to see us in a zone tonight for a lot of the game. If that is the case much tougher to rebound we have to be aware and be aggressive for rebounds.
3-Limit turnovers. If we commit 22 turnovers tonight this game is over. A lot of our turnovers are not forced they are just careless passes and failure to keep the ball moving and out of trouble.
4-Work the ball inside out. Post should get a touch on about every possession when the double team comes kick it out for a three or perimeter shot. If no double team take it strong to the basket and score.
My confidence level that we can execute all four of these is 50 percent. I am confident that that we have the ability because the last seven minutes of the Miss. St proved that. The negative 50 is because we can't seem to grasp mentally all the mistakes we have made in prior games and have repeated them in several games since. Time to win a big game at home no excuses. We have equal talent to them don't know if we have the coaching and mental approach to the game that they have. They do lead the nation in assists as a team.

But I am and don't hide the fact.And yes I do feel your pain,you do need better coaching ,you got some dam good players and with a bit of help you could make sweet sixteen....

Very good game plan if we can execute in my opinion with rebounds and turnovers being the two most important.
