Crowd is very quiet for us to be playing this well against the #2 team. Need more energy from the crowd.

Nice first half. Kind of reverted to form a little towards the end of the half.

Passing has been crisp. Need to improve on the defensive end. Simmons got matched up on a post several times down the floor. Their three point shooter is being left open too much.

Our substitutions have been really odd. I am surprised we kept our momentum with so many combinations on the floor. But we should be fresh for the second half.

really like what i saw from russell in the first half. not sure why simmons didn't choose to go to her for the last shot.

it was one fine half of basketball by the Lady Vols,now lets hope they come out in the 2nd half and keep executing like they have been

Thought Ariel was fouled she landed pretty hard when she went down and even though she stayed in the game i do hope she is alright.

Great effort by the Lady Vols so far. Keep pounding inside the paint for points & get more fouls on ND. Shoot the 3 if it's there & keep the pressure up & down the floor. Go LV....beat the Irish girls.

As much as they emphasize touch fouls they sure didn't call one there. She got hit with the other girl's body. The refs aren't calling much because it is a high profile game. They are letting them play which is good if they are consistent about it.

Excellent offensive first half by UT--probably our most efficient in years. Got the ball to the bigs and were PATIENT on offense. Problem was, nd shot very well, too--made some ridiculous shots. We need to //stay patient// on offense and take what they give us--make good decisions. Continue to play //smart//--which is ingrained in nd and not so ingrained, many times, in the Vols. Nice job.

i thought she was fouled too and she did hit the floor hard,hopefully she will be ready to go

and was it Burdick or Carter that got knocked down to the floor right at the buzzer too? looked like a foul to me

I mean that one was hard to miss especially with how she landed so i think they should have called it regardless.

I don't want them to get frustrated and neither do i want these refs to decide the outcome of this game.

it was nice to see Reynolds get some playing time,i thought she would be pretty well benched against ND

Some signs of trouble the last several plays near the end of the half. Simmons lucky to get the foul call during her out of control drive to the basket. Massengale's drive was not good. Simmons runner near the buzzer instead of a pass to Russell to take advantage of the mismatch. Losing the discipline shown the first 18 minutes. They need to regroup at halftime and get back to the plan.

the refs have got way to involved in a lot of games this year,poor calls on both teams playing,there isn't much consistency from one ref crew to the next in basketball,mens and womens
