I’m not that excited about this game after those 2 losses, but hope they get the win.
What happens is the LV have a good game against a team they are better than anyway and a lot of folks take that as we are ready,if we play like this we can beat anybody when it’s only fool’s gold.now I do think the team can get better if our coach adjust her strategy on who should be starting and the minutes given to the bench plus bringing the right players off the bench based on the play of game

I think we'll play well and continue to win SEC games. People will definitely say its only bc of easier competition and that will be at least partly true. But it's so much better than the alternative, which is to continue to lose. That can't happen.

that is the lineup I would go with,,,the only potential change I would make is Pissott for Darby
I tend to agree but it seems the others rarely pass the ball to Tess and especially Justine unless they are desperate. They need to work on a plan to get our shooters open. Driving the middle into three players doesn't work very well and that is what we do. They need to move, reverse, drive and kick it out if the middle is clogged. We don't do that. We try to force the shot. It's not hard and I don't understand why this hasn't been corrected.

I know for a fact, bc the physical evidence is there, that Justine has worked on defensive posture and expanding her offense beyond sniping,,,as has Tess....At this point in the next few games,,I would let them prove the better option on the court giving = time to each

I don’t know how much strategy goes into it, when the roster is very flawed. Maybe getting Rickea and Jordan more shots and maybe working off of each other.

With Striplin and Puckett not starting we win. Also time to get Wynn , Miles ,and lil Darby some play time.
Wynn has the size I want at the Pg position and I think she would have done a better job on Morris the last game, but she’s so limited offensively.

LV 69
Ole Miss 61

We continue to play to level of lower competition is the expectation for me.

Huh? Except for Missouri, we've won all our SEC games by double digits. We do fine against lower competition. It's the better competition we've struggled against.

I still would have played her regardless for defense and take my chances.it’s like having her defense on Morris is how you help negate fewer points for them

We play to there level by not starting the game aggressively and having to scratch and claw in the 4th quarter or beginning of 3rd quarters to comeback and then assert ourselves to those double digit victories. It's not as though were beating those teams by 20 and 30 pts either. Double digits can be a terrible way of judging a performance. Ive yet to see us dominate from start to finish this season . We always seem to have lapses of bad decision making .

With Ole Miss now #30 in the NET, this is a great opportunity to pick up a 4th Q1 win. That would give us more Q1 wins than Iowa, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, MTSU (ahem...).

Massey has this 69-62, Her Hoop Stats 70-63, and RealTimeRPI 76-69. A 7-point win consensus!

I think we win by double digits, maybe something like 76-65.

With the losses to UConn and LSU, Tennessee is now rounding into the "you have to win these to protect your shot at an NCAA bid" stretch. It's going to be a month of survive and survive some more for Tennessee. And on that note, it feels like a game that should be in Tennessee's favor. Ole Miss shoots under 44% from the floor, doesn't tend to make 3s, all sorts of stuff. That said, I'm very concerned it'll turn into one of those "near tied going into the fourth quarter" contests where sloppy play leaves the outcome in question until the last few minutes. Hope not.

Hope everyone’s week is going well! My prediction is Ole Miss 66 TN 62.

I think this is the biggest game of the season bc it’s going to shape the trajectory moving forward.
