the Lady Vols are ranked 8th in the AP Poll and 11th in the USA Today Coaches Poll

Oregon State is ranked 10th in the AP Poll and 12th in the USA Today Coaches Poll

the Lady Vols will have to keep up the excellent job they have been doing on Defense to win this game and start making some shots ,limit the turn overs

and of course out rebound them, but the Beavers have some tall centers ,the tallest is at 6-6 and one at 6-5

one more thing, that is a must in this game, stay out of early foul trouble Izzy

as all ways Go Lady Vols :clapping:

Agreed. That is an absolute must.

Looks like they are a two to three point favorite even though were playing at home. We need to come ready to play aggressive for forty minutes. They have a 6'7" girl although she is not their best scorer.

Oregon State will be much bigger than Tennessee.

They go 6-6, 6-5, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, , 6-0.

Tennessee better have on their rebounding uniforms.

No problem...the best players from Oregon play for the Lady Vols...this will be a walk-over...for the home team.

The Lady Vols appear more athletic and seem to have a little more speed, however, Oregon State did a very good job handling a speedy more athletic North Carolina program. This will be a good test for the girls. They will be playing a program similar in size to Texas. The major difference in this game will be Izzy and the fact the the LV defense has looked a lot better than they did against Texas (not that they were necessarily bad). I believe we can win this one. I am excited, can't wait until the ladies are up and running again. Go Big Orange beat the Orange out of Oregon State!!!!!!!!!

Good teams raise their game to the next level when they play against tough competition. This game will tell you if the Ladies have that toughness to protect their home and if they can elevate their game. On paper OSU looks like the winner, however, it is only paper and games are not won on paper. LV's by 3.

Despite the relative negative view on here, Massey has the Lady Vols as a 5.5 pt favorite with a 64-36 chance of winning.

Against NC, OSU hit seven
3 pointers and pulled 50 rebounds. Yes, that's right, 50 rebounds. We should be able to press this team, defend the three, but we better be blocking out.

If we can shoot halfway decent say 40 percent we should win. They turn it over a lot 23 versus NC. NC got up 70 shots on them hit 21 percent hard to win doing that. Play even on the boards win the turnover battle by ten and shoot 40 percent should be a win.

If Harrison gets injured or in foul trouble and has to sit for a a long stretch, UT could be in big trouble.

Like Texas, this is a game where height will be very important.

It is hard to play an entire season without a true center. Some games it will catch up with you.
