Izzy's injury did not look good at all. Wouldn't be shocked if she wasn't done for the year. Hope not but that looked very bad

I'm sorry but the ball movement and decision making was so much better tonight without Burdick and Jones, but as soon as they get back they'll be eating up minutes like crazy. Mark it down.

Middleton is already the best player on the team. The two other freshman look really good too. Simmons will not be missed.

I've tried to tell some posters don't worry about recruiting rankings anymore with this coaching staff they want winners, players who play hard, and hate losing more than they like winning the three freshman fit that profile and you're seeing the results

The freshmen looked great tonight. My goodness, Nia Moore needs to put on the superwoman costume for Monday's game. Nia Moore, so far, can do no wrong. Let's all hope & pray that Izzy will be back playing quickly.

The race for starting point guard just got real. I understand it was "PENN" but would Ariel and Carter put up 20/11? IDK. Maybe.

Sucks to be Holly because she has some tough choices on who to start.
The upside, if one of them is having a bad game, we have for the first time in a looong time high quality guards on the bench ready to come in.

The freshman have exceeded my expectations by a large margin..I can't off the top of my head remember a lady vol freshman class playing with such poise and confidence. The biggest surprise though has to be the emergence, or should I say explosion, of nia Moore.. I would think that Middleton had earned a starting spot alongside massengale..

The next game we get Massengale and Carter back. I am fine with starting Middleton, Reynolds, and Carter on the wings and Graves and Moore inside. I expect Harrison is out a few games even with the best news.

Moore's performance hasn't surprised me at all. She was very productive last year in the few chances she got to play. I have never understood why Holly didn't give her more time because what I saw on the floor didn't match what Holly was saying about her. She still needs to work on positioning for rebounds. That is the one area where she is weak. Middleton has been amazing in my opinion. She has not looked like a freshmen in any shape or form so far. If she keeps the same attitude against the stronger teams down the road, whoa Nellie, we got us a good'un.

I'm not going to say she is the best player on the team, but she did have a really good first game. Remember that we played Penn and not UCONN.

I don't understand it either. I was hoping that Holly had given her more of a chance last year, because some really didn't see her potential playing only two minutes against bench players and others saying she wouldn't be much help because of her size. All she needed was time and and an opportunity for her to flourish.

No joke. Nice win, but let's pump the brakes just a bit before declaring Middleton/Moore the best duo since Holdsclaw/Catchings.....
