I remember someone's criticism of me noting our lack of height. Vindicated. Gotta recruit some taller players that can score and defend.

The only thing to offset height is better shooting % therefore negating the rebounding / down low offense advantage. Based on statistics, teams need to shoot 35%-37% at a minimum when they are shorter than their counterparts. Unfortunately, the LVs have been too cyclical in their per game shooting % to beat equal or better talented teams a majority of the time.

I have to admit this SC team is better than last years. So many players that can defend and score. Embarrassing riches. I hope all you understand there are only few teams that can play with them. Everybody else they have beaten down this year.

I am not discrediting anyone. It is great that LVs are bringing in better talent. However, we did not get any size in the recruiting class and as we have seen all SEC season long size matters down low. Just saying that it will be an issue that needs to be addressed or we will see similar results next season. Hopefully the incoming recruits can consistently hit contested layups as that is a strong contributor to the LVs shooting droughts.

We have decent size they just don't play strong enough in the post. Got to get a couple solid post players out of the portal. That's all she needs with the strong freshman class coming in. GLV

Are you? If you are simple minded enough to think a coaching staff will fill every position through high school or portal recruiting something is wrong with your brain. And theirs. Who ever said the recruiting class is finalized? Who ever said they won’t add post players? This is the dumbest argument of all-time, never in the history of sports has a college team ever signed ever team need in a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 player recruiting class.

Again, stop trying. This is the best recruiting class in HS. This argument you’re making is irrelevant. People have complain about high school recruiting for over five years and with an incoming elite class some of you still find a reason to discredit recruiting.
None of us know what the final roster will even be this summer.

I think you are the one making assumptions not me. Just because 5'5" in HS is able to produce great stats does not always translate to college. Same could be said for at least half of the top 50 recruits. Most do not prove to be highly productive in college. Yes, looks great on paper but we will see when it hits the floor next fall.
