It's clear to see the chemistry thing, Diamond tries to pass her teammates can't catch the ball. Near the end of the first we score and she sets up to press only for us to no longer be in the press (she looks back at Holly with her hands in the air like wtf are we doing) we should be pressing SC at all times they do not have any guards (outside of Mitchell) who could possibly get by us. People say Diamond is selfish, sometimes I wish she would really selfish and just say bump it because she seems to be one of a few who really seems to want it
X2I'm convince Diamond needs to be motivated to play (with this team) and it's certain teams/players that motivate her. It shouldn't be that way but based on what I am seeing and how Holly has coach (or lack there of) that is my assessment. If ever allowed to truly just be "Diamond" I think we would see a much better team
Amen...additionally, Diamond is a better player in transition. She's not accustomed to having to slow down every play for Holly to call something from the bench. She knows that if they can run, they may get some easy points. During the last glory years where Alexis Hornbuckle or Candace Parker would lead the fast break we'd get easy points. Gone are the days....
