Happy for the win..but playing SC without Aja is like playing the Bulls without Jordan. Hope the talent on this team can carry past the obvious hindrance.

The tiebreaker was win % of head-to-head games among the four tied teams:

I think LSU was 3-1 for 75%
A&M 3-2 for 60%
Missouri 1-2 for 33%
Lady Vols 1-3 for 25%

What is odd is that we were 3-0 against the #2 & #3 seeds.

Enjoyed the game and the crowd in Thompson Boling today!! So glad for the win! Started out slow, but did so much better the second half.. Agree that Davis is going to be a good one at Tennessee ,that’s for sure. Another good time in Knoxville had by all!! Congrats Lady Vols on your win today!!🏀

Def has potential. Needs a bit more confidence. She's already more agile than Russell though, and I think she can impact the game defensively more than Russell did here in the long run. I think her, Green, and Collins will form a fine tandem next year in the front court.

KK is out of shape and can't play many minutes. Not sure how much help she can be in the postseason.

On paper she looked like a steal. She broke Griner’s shot blocking record. I wonder if it is more of a development of raw talent issue than a bad player issue. Recently we have had a problem with players being developed to their fullest potential. I see a lot more potential in Russell than we see on the floor. Most of it is consistency, aggressiveness, toughness and using her talents on both ends of the court for 4 quarters.

In the second half of yesterday’s game Russell showed that if she chooses to command the boards, she can. I still think it is a coaching issue. Even with the best talent in the country, there are some things you have to demand. It takes a strong coach to manage talent and to get the best out of your players. No matter how much you might want to roll with Holly, she has to get tougher, or next year we might have one the most talented teams in the country that is not performing up to their ability and talent.
