No timeout to settle the team down? Force these young ladies to drive toward their off hand. Post players have to move their feet and get in position to draw a charge. Basic fundamentals! Come on!

I don't know how much they will cool down shooting 50 percent as a team for the season. I think you need to force turnovers try to force them out of an offense make them take a shot they don't want to take. I was impressed with their play. We have two players not doing anything it happens they need to come alive or were done.

Can someone please tell me why the lady vol defense is so terrible? They preach defense and rebounding, they recruit athletes obviously rather than shooters, so seriously, why is it the Cardinal is able to run thru them like water thru a strainer?

Hopefully no one gonna blame Holly for the way they shot the ball and the way we shot. We'll have to close it in the third quarter a must win quarter.

We can hope they shoot around 35 percent and commit 10 more turnovers that is what is gonna take.

If we can get this back to even with a run to start the third we can win it. This group has shown all year that they have the mental toughness to win close games. Wish we hand't been in so many, but it isn't like this is unfamiliar territory. Better opponent, but you can erase a 10 point deficit pretty quickly if you'll lock in on defense a little. Smith will have fresh legs for the second. I say give the ball to who is guarding her and have them take it right at her the first three possessions. She'll give up a layup trying not to foul, or foul and sit herself back down.

Because we recruit athletes who simply out-athlete HS competition. Therefore, become highly ranked. Stanford, Uconn, etc recruit basketball players with bball SKILLS! AND ball IQ.

We are not a bad team, they were lights out first half. Lets keep this pressure up, they can't take 40 minutes of it. They haven't faced a pressure defense all season, Baylor certainly didn't put the clamps down.

If we can beat them after the rain of threes they levied, then it really does show something special about this team.

I was worried whether we might have trouble making the tourney at the start of the season. Now we may be a top 5 team!
