This loss doesn’t hurt us much. I believe Stanford will go on to win the PAC-12, regular season and tournament. You heard it here first lol.

Naw we played terrible to tonight. You can't say we didn't play bad, then turn around and say defense and rebounding could be better. We gave up over 90 and over 40 of those came at the 3 pt line. We shot terrible and was missing bunnies left and right.

I wouldn't say terrible. I've seen them play terrible over the last few years, and this was not it. In retrospect, they have no business being a dominant rebounding team because they don't have any real post presence.

I think Oregon is better as well, but I don’t think they’ll beat Stanford. Tara is too good of a coach. They beat Oregon last year by 12. Stanford was nowhere near this good last season and Oregon was much better a year ago. They frustrated them to no end on the defensive end and I think Tara will have them gameplanned pretty well.

I saw that. Seems she's played less as the games have been getting closer. Looks like Holly is tightening her rotation.

Good win by Stanford considering Smith was limited by foul trouble. Maya Dodson is really good also. They will be tough next season.

You are very correct when you said it comes down to defense.Lady vols needs to improve their defense, it like they score 2point, Stanford score 3... I think, other than that they played well. When you play great and fight a great team from beginning till the end. I'm proud of how lady Vols hang in there and fight even though k.k wasn't there, as Holly ruined her mouth that she's good to go.Great job vols, I'm proud..Naw work on defense cause there's room for improvement.

The Lady Vols fell to Stanford, however, for a young team they held their own. They reduced the turnovers, however, when a team shoots over 50%, you are going to have a tough time winning. Don't hang your heads ladies, I am proud of you. We need to work on guarding the 3. We also missed a lot of close in shots, you can't do that against good teams.

Defense will determine how far the team can go this season. A lot of improvement needed and especially on the boards. No reason for us to lose the rebound battle by 13. If they don't get about six putbacks on rebounds we still might have won even with us shooting 40 percent.

I'm just not sure why somebody at Tennessee can't figure out how to keep hot three-pont shooting teams from killing us. How many more times will this need to happen before something new is tried to stop it?

In contrast to what I have seen the past few years this really wasn’t that bad is all I’m saying. I think the next time they play a good 3 ball team they will need to understand that defense starts before the catch not after. Stanford should have not have had that many attempts period. They’ll learn.

Yeah but y’all acting like we’re the worst team in the country and all is lost for the rest of forever. Get a grip. We got outscored by a top 10 team in December. After this win they may actually be a top 5 team depending on what happens in the Oregon/Miss State game.

Anytime you allow 95 points in a womens basketball game you deserve to lose. We had enough breakdowns on defense tonight to lose twice. Even with their 14 threes we could win just by rebounding and stopping the layups on offensive rebounds.
