Agree with that. Very poor 2nd quarter for Holly. Let Syracuse gain the momentum. Thought very poor play from DD. We need her since Reynolds is out.

play a matchup zone and cover their two best three-point shooters. This is a winnable game. We've got to take the ball to the basket when beating their press.

Russell has been a no show in this game. She is OUR advantage and we've gotten nothing from her. We need better ball movement and pound the ball inside when we can.

Carter was alright offensively as a freshman - I recall her being much more reliable from range. Her shot and her confidence are all but evaporated now, though. She's had a few 3 looks, but you can tell she's never going to take them.

Losing Reynolds has hurt us. Cooper is NOT a good defensive player. She plays defense like Massengale did--kind of lazy. And, yea, Carter dribbles too much. Our team dribbles too much.

DD had a GOOD first half. They killed us with threes, we turned the ball over too much--and we got nothing out of Russell. We need to be better defensively and get the ball inside on offense.

We had meme jackson in the game at the end of quarter and not Dunbar. They will not shoot threes that well in the second half. We need to pass the ball to beat their press and get the ball in the paint!

That's exactly what I was thinking! MeMe hasn't played hardly any minutes in the tourney and hasn't showed that she WANTS to attack the rim. All she did was pass the ball around. Get Dunbar back into the game at this pivotal moment of the 2nd half. Geez Holly is killing this team. It's fools gold when we are winning but playing from behind Holly coaches like the team is playing. Out of sorts.

They shot the three well and Tennessee still kept leaving them open and giving them room to shoot it. i can only hope that they go ice cold in the second half and that Tennessee is the one red hot.

Everybody needs to stop blaming Holly. Good grief, Syracuse is unconscious from 24 ft. Difficult to defend when a team is hitting shots like that even with defenders in their face. I'm not sure Syracuse can continue to shoot lights out. If they do, there is t much the LV's can do because we do not have shooters like that and you can't match a 3 with a 2 every time.
