Though with Kellie the timeout would have come after losing the lead. At least we were far enough ahead to absorb a little run.

That’s what we’ve been signing it’s coming. Gotta work with what we have this season unfortunately.

Makes it that much evident how bad our roster was. They’re all great kids and talented basketball players, just not athletic enough to keep up at the highest levels of women’s college basketball.

The realistic goal for this team is and always was to just make the tournament. Beyond that is gravy

There are going to be rough patches playing this style when half the team was recruited to play plod ball.

It’ll be better when there’s a top 2 recruiting class + more transfers built to actually run the system

Pretty sure that's exactly what they're bringing in. But IMO have to get some more height as well.

It's a loss of focus, understandable in the umpteenth cupcake game. They'll get hell for it and it will be a learning experience.

The fact we can play this bad defensively and still be up 20 against a well coached, quality mid-major says something though.

It’s to the point where I dread seeing Puckett catch because you just know she’s about to try to do too much. Painful. Lucky she got the foul call there, that was a terrible decision

What I’ve noticed is anytime a team makes a run , MTSU and Liberty so far, we’ve responded and built the lead right back up. Teams of the past will lose the lead and the game, or at least all the momentum. I find This to be a positive and huge building block for this squad.

Easy to lose focus when you're up by 20 after 1 Quarter.
