They get them from the rec league at the Y so we cannot expect too much.

It’s really just a few players letting everyone else down defensively. They need to take personal responsibility and get better. Their teammates need to hold them accountable as well.

No reason to give up those last few buckets there.

i will say, they have impressed me. a very mobile back to the basket post with some guards who are good under pressure and can shoot the three.

I was about to say, when Favor is in, I know something good is going to happen defensively.

Same with Latham, they bust their butt and bring the energy. Favor is going to earn herself more minutes.

It’s painful watching some of the slower girls try to defend in comparison to someone like Favor, Coop or Boyd

Which goes with the idea that the roster is really mismatched at the moment. Half the players are perfect for the style, the other half too slow.

I don't think they're better than MTSU, but they are definitely way better than Samford or UT-Martin. They are a top 3-point shooting team, though, and right now our press is allowing for a LOT of open 3s.

No it's all of them that can't stop a dribble drive, just like it's always been. It's like they just don't practice it.

I'm telling you, if this is an NCAA Tournament game, I'm badly wanting us to slow this game up, score 105 and win. Keeping up the frantic pace is going to keep Liberty in the game.
