After the 7:00 minute mark of the second quarter we started playing defense and getting the ball inside. Which is what we should be doing 100% of the time.

In the 2nd half, I would love to see some plays ran for our shooters (Tess, Sara, Marta, Justine). Gonna have to hit some 3s to beat VT.

Not shooting the ball very well, but the defense did a great job in the second quarter. We need to hold them to 11 in the third as well. It could be a game if we can do that.

And then one key sub and another who's been coming on are also out with concussions?

Lady Vols looking like the more talented team all of a sudden. Finish this half strong.

Virginia Tech is a good team… the players that are playing the best on the court right now between both teams are Horston, Marta, Key, Powell, and #13 from Virginia Tech.
TN game management is just behind all these other top 10 teams. The off-season has good for TN.
They weren’t prepared to compete with this schedule.

Yes, get the ball to Key--but we'll also need to hit some 3s to win this game. I'd estimate that we'll need to hit /at least/ 4/5.

And, ultimately, our defense will determine whether we have a chance to win this game.

I don't know what happens to us cause when we give that effort we can play. We just can't do it for 40 minutes. After a really ugly first quarter we found some energy. If we could do that for another thirty I think we win. I am worried we'll back to that weak first quarter play. We never play well in the third quarter.
