we peaked at the wrong time, but honestly I think the up-tempo system has worn down our players. You can tell it in their faces that they don't have their legs

It's the end of year one, it shouldn't be like this.

I don’t know about that. Just too many players that can’t play at this pace. Not many can which is why nobody runs this system.

I've come around to thinking this is the issue (rather than "locker room issues"), along with teams figuring out everything we want to do on offense. Hopefully the time off before the NCAAs will allow some rest and for us to add at least a little something new to the offense.

Doesn't matter if it's the end of year 1, if players don't fit your system, especially a totally different system than they've ever played, it's just not gonna work. I can't believe people don't realize this. This system takes specific type of players and we don't hav them but, they will be here for next season.

I thought we defended her really well for about 25 minutes (but players like Moore were beating us), but we started to lose her more there in the last few minutes.

I’ve noticed too. She can’t hold on to the ball, has a hard time staying balanced. She almost looks like she’s playing dizzy.

Sounds crazy but this isn’t over. LVs are capable of crazy runs.

That said, for 3 qtrs Vandy has been the better team, even w their two best players off their games. Both games, I’ve felt Ralph thoroughly won the coaching and preparation battle.
