Really thought this year would be a breakout year for us with 3-point shooting bringing in Spear and Wells to go with Darby and (a hopefully improved) Puckett. Puckett has improved, but Darby is way down after an excellent year last year, Wells really struggled, and Spear has struggled against the top teams. Statistically it's actually the best 3-point shooting team of the Kellie Harper era at 31.8% and the best since 2018-19 (32.5%) but it's still just not nearly good enough. You need to have a good game shooting 3s to beat South Carolina--and we are not a good 3-point shooting
team and we have a pitiful 2 treys today. Unless you've got a team with some good inside players, you need to
make AT LEAST 10 treys to beat SC. Three-point shooting is been among our biggest weaknesses for years.
