actually, in intramurals my soph yr, we had a good bunch of guys, but a few of us were unavail so we had to pick up a guy off the dorm floor to have 5. we're up 4 with 5 secs left and the other team has to go length of court after a TO. we huddled - "everybody just stand off to the side and let them score". "the pickup" fouls a guy as he's drilling a 3 at the horn - he sinks the ft to send it to ot, which we lose by 10. that was, without question, the dumbest foul ever committed. a week later, "pickup" moves to another dorm.

I went to more of his clinics as a player than I can recall. He recruited me hard my soph year.
