Great pitching by Renfroes in CWS--they are the story of the tournament. Can they hold down the sooners? Yes, I say--but it sure would be nice to score, say, 5 or more runs more in each of the first two games! Not much margin for error when you are clinging to one-run leads. Of course, the Vols have faced great pitching too--the Texas pitcher is a stud. She was jamming the UT hitters inside when I was brave enough to watch--really pounding the inside corner. That is good pitching. I think if we can get the bats going and put up some runs on oklahoma and win the first game, the sooners will REALLY feel the pressure after losing it last year, and that will work even more in UT's favor. Go Vols!
