I would rather have to win 1/2 against OU in the semis than 2/3 in the final, if they're the best team, so I hope OU loses to Texas.

And, if they do lose to Texas, it's possible that they lose again in their next game.

The LV who said a loss would have meant another game today was incorrect, but whatever motivated them worked. The weather bumped everything.

OU-Texas is next. The four Thursday losers play tonight to cut the field to six teams. This afternoon's losers play tonight's winners tomorrow afternoon. The semifinals are tomorrow night. Presumably, the if-necessary games would be on Monday afternoon.

If there are no more postponements, they could begin the championship series as originally scheduled, on Monday night. Anyone who has to play an if-necessary game in the semis would be playing twice on Monday.

The original schedule would have had us needing to win 1 of 2 tomorrow. Now, that second game would probably be on Monday. That's an advantage that we lost. When the two games are on the same day, it gives the team in the winners' bracket the edge of being able to rest their best pitcher in Game 1 if it goes badly. The LVs used to do that with Monica Abbott. We would need one win, and if we fell behind early, we'd pull Abbott and save her for Game 2, while the opponent ran itself out of gas in Game 1.

Texas has beat OU this season -- should be a good game -- IMO Ricketts is all motion. Glad M. Davin is back, we will need the right handed hitters more against Ricketts.

2-0 so far the Lady Vols! Way to go beating Washington 1-0! Next up, looks like OU. Will be tough, but Lady Vols could do it. Good luck Lady Vols!

We should have won by at least 3 to 0 today--left a TON of runners on base, and it could have cost us, but great pitching by E. Renfroe and a big, big win.
