Can't freaking wait. So excited that I started this thread a night in advance. I hate the Steelers so very much. I hope Jason Jones eats Roethlistberger for 3 more sacks and forces 3 more fumbles. He had a monster game last year. Also.... if Steelers fans are going to throw towels at the Titans players again, I expect them to be stomped on again. :)

Talk about being disrespected by ESPN.

Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - Intel - September 10, 2009 - ESPN

6 of the 8 people chose the Steelers to win. The other two didn't predict.

They predicted Roethlisberger, Willie Parker and Hinze Ward to be the top three offensive players.

No love for the Titans to beat the Steelers or for Chris Johnson to be one of the top three offensive players. What a crock. They didn't even have Haynesworth last year when they demolished the Steelers. The only other departure is Justin McCarriens at wide receiver and I'll take Nate Washington or Kenny Britt over him any day. I hope the Titans come out and pulverize the Steelers. They very well may too with the lack of respect they are getting. 13-3 was a fluke... they lost in the first round... The Titans win that game if the Ravens don't intentionally hurt Chris Johnson. Two Ravens players bent him in half well after the play was over. It was dirty. He had 100 yards in the first half. The Ravens couldn't do anything to stop him so they tried to hurt him and they succeeded. Ahhhhhhhh, let's go Titans!

The Steelers are overrated themselves. It took the help of the refs to beat the Seahawks and the Cardinals setting a record for penalties in a Super Bowl. :p

If the Titans win, they should pretend to wipe their butts with the towel this time. Setting it on fire is also acceptable.

You have Super Bowl rings? :p

Curious, how many did you witness in your life time? You'd have to be like 40 to witness the first four. Not point in bragging about the ones you weren't alive for or old enough to remember. :)

Maybe you're 40 though. I guess I don't know.

I'm no Steelers fan myself... but that's kind of harsh.

Well they are rivals of the Titans. I dislike them for many reason. Their fan base has more jerks than a lot of fan bases. Probably because their fan base is so big because of the bandwagon fans. I think Hinze Ward is a dirty player. Jim Haslette who grew up a Steelers fan said the Steelers were the first team to really use steroids as a whole which explains their earlier championships. Those are actually his words and I see no reason for him to throw his favorite team under the bus unless it's true. He admitted to using steroids himself. I just don't like them. I can't help it. :p

I will call a truce with Steelers fans on this thread because they are fellow Vol fans. But only fellow Vol fans get that luxury. I still hate the rest of the Steeler fans. :p

you do realize the steelers team - like the players - didn't and still don't give a damn about the towl thing.

Literally, they've even said in interviews that Tomlin talked about it for all of 5 secs and that was it...

I'm a Titans fan, but I can't see a win in this one.

Steelers by 10...

Dang man... really? Why? The only thing that has changed from last year for the Titans sake is it's being played in Pittsburgh and they don't have Justin Mccarriens. Nothing else has changed. Haynesworth didn't play last year.

Either team could win but being a Titans fan, I am planning on the Titans winning. Should be a good game either way. It's kind of weird that I like college more because of the intensity of what one loss does to your season. But in a way, I like the NFL more because one loss during the regular season doesn't have the same impact so it's more relaxing.

Just happy football is back.
