Serrano: Can't say enough about Godley, tip of the cap to the defense, Bennett did a great job behind the plate.

Can't discount what Ozzy did in the ninth...

Osborne: "8th inning was huge, told Ethan, you get on and I'll bunt you over..."

on Godley...he's picked his game up, keeps the pitches low, I get a lot of action, love playing behind him...we want to make it to Hoover.

The rain before game time effected attendance. Parking was a breeze though.

When our guys realize they are "Grinders" then they will buy into the coaches' plans. It's like an NHL hockey team's third line of guys who are great scorers. They have to be physical, forecheck and beat up guys in the corners.

The first UK batter scored/ (after a 2 strike double) as the RBI also came on 2 strikes but that was almost it. Godley was awesome. Kept it down in the zone.

I was looking at my scoresheet and noticed we make it easy on the UK defense by hitting too many fly balls. In the 8th innings after having it easy, the Kats were having trouble (especially the catcher) with making smart plays. Thus the 2 insurance runs.
