They say that they decide where to go this week on Sunday, then send in the request to ESPN HQ. Then on Monday they contact the presidents of the schools, etc.

Ya know, someone made a very good point on another board.

With Herbstreit broadcasting the Saturday night games on ABC now, and the fact that the SEC doesn't have games on ABC, will there even be any GameDays at SEC locations this year?

I noticed this year they're calling their ABC broadcasts "ESPN on ABC" so maybe that'll be a way to get SEC games on there, but it won't be next week because both the LSU/Auburn and Florida/UT games are gonna be on CBS starting at 3:30EST.

I believe the Saturday Night ESPN on ABC game is USC vs. Nebraska, so I guess Herbie is doing that game. So what does that mean for us?

Well in that article link on the last page it said Corso and crew were coming to Knoxville, so I hope that article is right.

Yes, most likely. ESPN said that Herbie would be in the both on the games on ABC primetime, when and only when Gameday was at that location.

I also heard Fowler talk about coming to Knoxville. Said something like "You're just getting the Big Orange Nation ready for next week when we go down there. It should be fun"
