Well... the good news is that he didn't put on the Smokey head. That is probably a good omen for us since he did pick us.

I'm kind of surprised Herbie went with SC, he usually favors us.

Oh well, who cares... now I have a day to kill til tonight's game.

I don't think picking SC is that outlandish. I'd go with TN, but I can see the pick.

Newton is a mobile guy that has improved their team and is throwing pretty well too. They have good WRs. We've had some trouble with that combination from time to time.

Spurrier. Nuff said there. He'll play aggressively and force us to defend everything. CPF has to deal with the "pucker syndrome" he's famous for not only feeling himself, but also distributing it among his coaches and team.

Our defense is playing better, but they still have some weaknesses.

We can't run the ball very well.

So I don't think it would be a fluke if we lost.

I also think that Spurrier would beat SC by 21 if the coaches switched teams.

Sup Professor Liper. :)

I am worried because I can't think of anything worse than losing to Spurrier at SC on ESPN when Gameday is there.

While I worry quite a bit about every game, I'm not as worried about this one. ESPN is hyping this game big time and to do that, they have to talk up SC. In the process, people are buying into their advertising and now SC has a really good shot at beating us..

I'm not saying that SC doesn't have a shot. We all know that any team can win any game on any given day, but I think that the Vols will take care of business.

I think that Foster will be successful in running the ball. I think that Ainge will have plenty of time to find a receiver (Swain or no Swain) and I think that our defense will play well enough for the offense to outscore SC.

Oh, I agree with you. I think we'll win. I just wouldn't shocked to see us get upset.

I've got TN by 10 points in my head. But a couple of turnovers, a missfire here and there, and a gadget play would tighten this up in a hurry.

It wouldn't take much too keep it close if we stumble around for a half. In other words, we let them stay on the field for a while, turn it over, and kick field goals. All of the sudden its halftime and we're in a game.
