I think part of their "good guy-bad guy" act is for Corso to usually pick the underdog but for some reason he seemed genuinely upset with the South Carolina fans.

He took more mean-spirited pokes at South Carolina than I have ever seen before. Things like "The real USC is So Cal", ""Is that great support for a losing program, or what?", and then he said something about needing a police escort. I think he picked UT just to see if he could irritate the Gamecock fans.

Since Corso wanted to pick the Vols then Herbstreit pretty much had to pick the Gamecocks.

I am worried, but Tennessee rarely comes out flat two games in a row. I think the Alabama game was a wake up call, and they will answer the call tonight.

Im worried as well, I think for me its the Spurrier factor. Also Im concerned about our ability to stop Newton. Hopefully Ainge gets into a groove early and exploits the man to man USC seems to rely on. I really dont see this being a high scoring game, and Im afraid that in itself plays against us.

Knowing that our young guys have been tested the past few games and are getting better with each game has me at ease, hopefully we will be ready to play tonight...:clapping:

I think it will be close the first half and Tennessee pulls away in the second. The Vols are a 3rd and 4th quarter team. I've always said that.

We didn't finish drives, but we looked just fine. We should have easily scored 30+ considering we were in Bama territory 9-10 times.

Hopefully our players realize the history between Spurrier and Fulmer, and lay it all on the line for their coach. That being said, I believe this game will be a dog fight.

how the hell can you be worried about this game people, this is the same team that lost too GA, this is the same team that struggled against Mississippi State, this team STRUGGLED AGAINST WOFFORD(WHO THE HELL ARE THEY)

what do they got they we dont have and better, some WR who thinks he is a qb NOW, SPURRIER who thinks he is better then phil. I was worried yesterday about the whole spurrier issue, but you dont think cut and phil put together a game plan this team and spurrier prob never thought was coming. TALENT WISE WE ARE WAY BETTER ITS THE FRICKING COCKS GUYS, i see us coming out swinging i know the boys are seeing everyone is picking against, and thats just bc they have to jump on the bandwagon

Spurrier doesn't think he's a better coach than TCHFCATUTK, he knows he is. The facts back up that assertion.

Why do we Vol fans put ourselves though the mental torture before and during ever game? Answer: It's our Karma. The thrill of the go-ahead TD in the fourth quarter against Bama is worth the worrying and knashing teeth.:haha_oh:

first of all coker wasnt are starter in the beginning of the year so i dont really think were losing too much their. its like arian gets hurt and everyone is now giving up on him, 1 game and your worried about ainge....HE DID GREAT in the 2cd half.......Swain is only 1 rec. WE HAVE SMITH,MEACHEM,BRISCOE has ability to step up, ROGERS has ability to be playmaker. YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME ITS USC

i dont even know why all the "so called experts" are picking USC. MIND BOGGLING, they pick us to win agains FL and to win against GA but not USC.......

So they all picked against us except Corso? I didn't get to see all of it this morning......That's all fine and good, we'll prove them all wrong tonight, although I really don't know what we have left to prove to South Carolina seeing as how we own them winning 17 of the last 19 games against them
