I cant wrap my head around why he thinks we need Alabama and Georgia to win out or why we would want Texas to beat A&M if A&M loses to Auburn. I get the strength of schedule aspect but, if Georgia and/or Alabama loses, we move into the field at their expense. For strength of schedule purposes, we need Oklahoma, Florida and NC State to each win at least one more game so those wins are against .500 bowl eligible teams. Arkansas needs to win out to lessen the effect of that loss.

3 of the most likely things that move us in the playoff are

1 ND loses another game
2. Ole Miss loses another game
3. Indiana gets beat so by Ohio State they drop out entirely

As of today based on the absurd and biased committee, Tennessee can get in IF:
This weekend's games only
Notre Dame loses to Army
or Penn St loses to Minnesota
or Indiana loses big to Ohio ST. this is a maybe

Or In the SEC
Ole Miss loses to Florida and Texas A&M doesn't win the SEC Championship

Because generally speaking, we want teams on our schedule to win every other game. We want SEC teams not on our schedule (like USCe) to lose every game.

Not only does that help our strength of schedule in general, it also helps greatly with a couple of the tie-breaker rules for SEC CG.

Yup, that's all there is to it. Nothing super complicated has to happen. Obviously the more teams that lose in front of us the better as it just helps our seeding.

It’s easy to get lost in the weeds here. The long and short of it is that there are so many things that could knock a team ahead of us out that the likelihood of none of them happening is very low. Win out, look good doing it, and we’re very likely in. As a fanbase, forget about the things that could get us in, and focus on putting all the good mojo you can toward us beating the piss out of Vandy. Envision it in your mind’s eye. Call into the sports animal and tell them you think we’ll lose; maybe that’ll get back to the lads or coaches and get them riled up. BEAT VANDY! Everything else will work itself out.

Not sure why we would want Bama to beat OU. If they lost that one, we would have beaten Bama and the two teams they lost to besides us. We just need to move up one spot. All of this assuming a Vandy win which is the only scenario in which we're still in the picture.
