Games we must win.

The good news is UK doesn’t have a qb, traditionally Mizzou can’t handle success, and uga might be without their best player. It seems crazy, but we are still in it for the East. We need to cheer for uga to beat uf, and then we go on a run like the first half on Saturday and we can still go to Atlanta. Heup can turn this around.

This is a piss poor outlook. Should we just assume we lose to any decent team since it’s on the road? Good teams and coaches find a win to win ball games. FL and Bama were more beatable this year than I imagine we will see in a long time. As far as “next year” people really need to look at our starters. We lose a ton of seniors. Next near may not be pretty.

Mizz isn’t a lock on the road. They are playing good ball. Ky isn’t a give me either. So many fans have adjusted expectations to align with the butch/Dooley/Pruitt years and it’s sad.

LOL, I’m not going to safely assume this Vols team can beat anybody to include Vandy. They don’t know how to win. They don’t have a champions mindset. There is zero leadership and real accountability on this team. There isn’t a player on this team that has 1/100th of the leadership Al Wilson displayed.

Good grief, talk about overreacting. This team is 5-2 not 2-5!

I don't think we'll finish 7-5, and I wouldn't be happy with that record, but it would still be the first three-year period since 2004 in which we didn't have a losing season.

9-3, with Mizzou being the only toss up game. I still think we'll win because I don't think they're as good as their record.

We're not going to beat Georgia.

We're not losing to UK. Stoops can't beat UT, and he's once again got everyone's hopes up only to start losing when he plays the better teams on his schedule. He has Kentucky owning Florida, that's about the only real thing he has going for him.

UConn? Terrible team that's a W.

Vandy? Worse than UConn maybe.

9-3 will be a good reacord, though honestly our schedule is pretty weak and we'll end up losing to the 3 best teams we played. If we beat Mizzou they'll probably be our best win.

Kentucky is, in my view, the only must win game left.

I do not expect us to beat Mizzou (road game - we all can see the trend there) as they are a pretty good team this year. Their QB is a good player and they have a star WR. I also do not expect us to beat UGA.

If we beat Kentucky and the rest, we finish 8-4 which is a decent year for the talent we have.

But a loss to Kentucky . . . Would mean. Ugh.

We own Kentucky in football and play them relatively even in men's basketball.

That’s wonderful. Who did the Vols lose to. That’s right, Florida and Bama, AGAIN. It’s like playing the same record over and over. Eventually it gets old. It’s such a blast getting beat by Florida, Bama, and Georgia year after year. Some folks have become accustomed to it apparently and it’s become acceptable. How anyone can be confident the Vols will beat KY or MO this year is beyond me. I don’t see a team that’s consistent or tough so I have very little faith that they will end the season 9-3. More like 8-4 and possibly 7-5.

Step away from the ledge. If you had @Florida and @Alabama as wins, you might need to readjust your expectations. Other than Georgia, we should be favored from here out. Keep recruiting and get Nico ready for next year...

I might be proven wrong, but depending on how the Kentucky game goes for us I doubt we’re favored on the road against Missouri.

If we win the rest of our games except Georgia and finish 9-3 how satisfied will you be?

Hold on a minute......I wouldn't assume a win against either KY or Mizzou. We're going to have our hands full with both.
