He's getting his automatic bid next year and should be able to run a train on the Big East and not even buy them dinner first. He's not going anywhere.

Why does he hate Tennessee so much?

The poster was referring to the other UT, not the real one this website represents!

I think Patterson would be a great hire by Texas. I also think he could pull several from Texas to UTK. Again, I am excited about Dooley and company. But, I am still more sold on Patterson at this point! I hope Dooley, Wilcox, Chaney, and others make me admit I was wrong about wanting Patterson when Kiffin was hired.

Patterson would have been a good hire, and Hamilton approached him and he turned UT down. I would like to see him lose, he likes playing a weak conference and weak schedule and then expect a BCS bowl at the end of the season.

Dude, for someone who has posted 14,000 post and a supposed Volnation Guru. Your football intelligence is very lacking to say the least! You are the same one who posted a comment about Wilcox doing less with a defense he inherited from Monte and spelled Monte as Monty! You do realize Wilcox had much less to work with this year than Monte had last year. Yet, UT's D improved and gave up a total of 27 points combined in the second half versus the last 5 teams! The great Monte gave up 40 plus to Ole Miss and Virginia Tech last year!

If, you don't think Patterson can coach a D and compete against tough competition. You are totally ignorant! Patterson's D just held the number 4 scoring offense this year that average 43 points per game in the Big Ten to 19 points with left over recruits from Texas!!!!!!!
