Gary Pinkel...

Pinkle preaches the DWI thing on his troops regularly. He admitted was wrong and is is taking the justified heat. The administration done what they saw fit. At least he didnt blow a 10 year old in the shower. It was a dinner party and doubt he blew barely above the legal limit, let alone a 12 year old.

DWI is no joke with me. I made mistake in my youthful days that cost me a ton. I was on a fast track to become a Ranger and a poor choice on my part as a 20 year old cost me my dream. There's not a day that goes by I don't regret it and I didn't hurt anyone. No accident. No property damage. Just my dreams. I'm over it now, but I still live by the code that if you've had too many, pass the keys.

DWI is serious and although we may not all agree on the legalities, it's effects can be devastating.

Sorry to hear about your story Tex. My best friend was a city police dispatcher. She was going to work one morning and was killed by a drunk driver. I have no sympathy for them at all. And yes the dd is out on bail after 6 years. Justice system is a joke. I have another close friend who killed 3 illegals, 2 with warrants doing 12 years on the same charge in Ks. He wont be eligible until he does 8 years. This guy is a mountain of a man that wouldn't hurt a flea. Wrong place wrong time. Sucks, I miss Bob. Circumstances are circumstances.

But, I only thought drinking and driving hurt a fake being called society? Are you suggesting TRUT was wrong?

You are right. Drinking and driving harms some invisible being we call society.

You know what? I'll be banned for a couple days, but hey, so be it.

If you actually believe some of the **** you have posted, your a ****ing joke and a disgrace to the human race. You are such a damn idiot and embarrassment, that for the first time in the two years of the ignore system we have had at Volnation, I'm using it on you. That should tell you something. Don't bother responding to this.

Bye.

Well said. I'm sure the mods agree with every word of that as well. :clapping:

Pinkel losing well over six figures due to a salary freeze during the suspension.

Life's about the decisions you make. He's showing accountability and realizing he effed up

Come on. It only kills 12,000 people a year. Socrates finds nothing wrong with that. In fact, maybe Pinkel should be given an award.

~150 million self-reported instances of drunk driving per year; 12,000 deaths.

~1 million high school football players per year; 100,000 concussions.

Right, the second one is not deaths. However, a 10% chance of brain damage compared to a .008% chance of death.

Hard for me to see the argument that drunk driving should be outlawed while playing football is not only permitted, but encouraged and young children who do not have the rational capacity to consent to said act are forced into it.

You kansas fans never cease to amaze me. I'm a mizzou fan, but what gary pinkel did was absolutely wrong. There's no way around it. He broke the law and by doing so potentially put lives at risk. He did the crime, and owned up to it. Now he has to serve the consequences. End of story.
