There is a gas price thread I just couldn't find it.

I don't think we get our supply from California. I believe it comes mostly from Louisiana and maybe Texas.
Doesn't matter. When a major refinery goes down it impacts the price of gas everywhere in the country, available stocks, demand, etc. Haven't you noticed?

Gas in Georgia is like right at $2 in some areas. Hasn't budged. I haven't gone to the Asian part of Atlanta though.

Trump said, “it had to go back up to get the oil, gas, and natural gas jobs up. Texas and other places. We lead the world in gas and world.

So Trump is a FDR fan. More than a little of the New Deal was an idiotic attempt at price stabilization. Glad to see Trump is following suit.

For jobs in the oil industry to come back in Texas and other states, it is good to have that right now, until we get control of our own gas prices. FDR? It’s a great move!

This just proves my point that the difference between a conservative and a progressive is about one election cycle. I will add that the gap is closing.

To me, it’s according to what kind of a person a progressive is? A conservative like me, wants to be free from other countries of everything. Another nation could absolutely destroy our nation with gas and oil, if you don’t watch out.

Regular gasoline and diesel are starting to move up here in Norfolk , you know in preparation for the gas hike after the hurricanes roll through the gulf . 😏

Having the government determine what goods you can and can’t buy is a very progressive notion.
