Gas prices rise for fourth straight week

Obama has a decent tradeoff here. Economic news all sucks and he gets beaten down for the truth of his economic platform, but fuel pricing easing on perceived lack of demand in the future. Economic news gets positive and fuel pricing works against him. Interesting which route the media will push.

Yea, gas prices are better than they were. Too bad so many don't have a job to drive to in order to take advantage of it.

Already happened. Our wholesaler went up immediately yesterday and I had to raise our retail gas prices for our chain 20 cents a gallon in some cases last night

By this weekend, gasoline prices will likely be higher than they were a year ago at this time, according to Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst at the Oil Price Information Service.

It was nice we went several months without refinery problems. Oh well.

The good news is that apparently talk of a global recession was premature. Back up to last year's prices despite the EuroZone meltdown.
