If whomever is coaching for UF has a lick of sense, they'll run the ball 80%, and trust their defense. EJ can win or lose this game all by himself. I'd limit his opportunity to do the latter. He's already declared for the portal. Anyone think he cares about anything but himself at this point?

Addition by subtraction with him leaving UF, and the exact opposite for any FBS team that takes him. Maybe Arky State gets him. Perfect marriage, IMO. Two egos that are bigger than their skill level.

Shame he's leaving UF. He would have helped our cause next year.

I saw a headline saying Copeland is also playing while in the portal.

So there's the formula for UF: Run the ball; trust your DL; and look for an easy throw for EJ. Do that, and you win by 14+.

If UCF can get to the Gator secondary, they have a chance.
