I just don't think Nebraska's defense gives up a TD here. I could be wrong.

Georgia trying to go over the middle cost them there. Give credit to Nebraska for playing physical.

I've been to numerous bowls in Fla and the weather is usually rainy/bad more than it is good down there like today. The Citrus Bowl against Ohio St was a monsoon almost the entire game back in '96.

Miserable environment but hell of a game. I set through the 94 Citrus vs PSU, 96 Citrus vs OSU and 07 Outback vs PSU all monsoons. Amazingly enough, I've attended numerous Citrus bowls, as my dad always got free tickets through work, and it never seemed to rain when UT wasn't in it, outside of the UM game in 02.

Umm Lynch dropping one of the easiest balls he'll ever have an opportunity to catch cost them there. Going over the middle worked like a charm.

I know. I just think the receiver was afraid to get smashed into the ground and dropped it. I could be wrong.

I understand your point but it looked like he was trying to score before he caught the ball. 5th year senior just can't let that happen.

Good win for Pelini. Big Ten isn't going winless this New Year's Day! Small victories.

Good win? They beat a UGA team with no defense and backup QB. That's garbage. The fact that it was close was pathetic. That was essentially the team that Candy beat and we tied.

I was at both PSU games at the Citrus and Outback. Mainly showered. The tOSU game in '96 was a hard rain. The only time it let up was when Manning hit Kent on the bomb. Other than that, that's the most rain I've sat in since UT-Fla in '92.

Best weather I've had down there was the UT-Northwestern Citrus Bowl in '97. Beautiful day. The Hall of Fame bowl (now Outback) against Boston College in '93 was nice too. Those were probably the two best bowls weather wise down there.

The Gator Bowl in '94 was dry but chilly. The Orange Bowl in '98 was very windy on the beaches that day. Not as bad inland for the game, but not ideal weather the time we were down there. The 2002 UT-Michigan Citrus Bowl was sunny but chilly.
